Filezilla really is the go-to free FTP software.

Here are my notes on how to get the most out of it.

1. Define your sites
2. Check the file transfer settings – binary is best
3. Use the BOTTOM pane!
4. Use the Queue, THEN download the files
5. Set you preferred editors for file-types
6. Edit, switch back, OK to replace.
